Peter is a composer and a likable sad sack who's devastated his girlfriend of five years, Sarah Marshall, raw CSI-style crime show, play, tailing him. Cries the surface, the mopes. Finally, his half-brother Brian suggests Hawaii, so Peter heads for a resort on Oahu where as a final check, Sarah and her new beau, Aldous, polymorphously Inglés rocker sees evil. Cry and suffer again, Peter is Rachel, a thoughtful hotel clerk who invites him to a luau and to hang until he recovered. Sarah constantly, and even as Aldous, Peter starts to come alive again. Sarah realizes what she has lost, and what Rachel?
